We at WalkaboutCity.com are sad to report that early in the morning on May 17, 2004, several buildings on this block were devastatingly and severely damaged by fire. As most know, Derry's Ole Tyme Cafe was our star business because of the excellent service and food found here and unfortunately was one of the businesses engulfed by flames, also lost was Monsoons. Naman's did sustain some damage but plans to reopen in the near future.

We give our deepest heartfelt sympathy and prayers and hope these businesses will overcome their loss and rebuild their dreams toward a successful future on Dauphin St.
